C.Thomas Millikin

C. Thomas Millikin, PA-C is Board-Certified in Physician Assistant Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS) since his completion of the U.S. Army Physician Assistant Orthopaedic Surgical Graduate Degree Training Course, (PAOS), Fort Benning, Georgia in 1986. He is a 22 -year U.S. Army (Retired) Officer/veteran having been practicing in the Atlanta, Georgia area since 1994.

 

Mr. Millikin graduated from the U.S. Army Physician Assistant Training Program in 1981 having received his bachelor’s degree in allied health sciences. Following a two-year assignment with the 2nd/30th Infantry Battalion, Schweinfurt, Germany, he returned to the United States, Fort Benning, Georgia, subsequently completing a two-year graduate degree Orthopaedic Physician Assistant Surgical Residency Program designed specifically for Physician Assistant's on Active-Duty service.

 

Mr. Millikin served in the United States Army for 22-years in the Medical Services Corps with his final assignment being in the White House Medical Unit, serving/providing health care to the President and Vice President of the United States and their immediate family members, during the Administrations of both President George H.W. Bush and President Bill Clinton.

 

Since his retirement from the U.S. Army in 1994, Mr. Millikin has been a practicing Physician Assistant in Orthopaedic Surgery in the metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia. He has resided in McDonough, Georgia since his military retirement, enjoying his four grandchildren and playing golf whenever he can find the time. He has completed his PH. D in Education and remains very active in "tutoring/mentoring" physician assistant students.
